Operation Hat-point – Codemasters attempt to out-silly rivals

Well, at least Activision's effort allows you to spy the girl next door...
Codemasters seem to be attempting to piggy-back on Modern Warfare 2's insano-marketing by offering the cash-flush an equally pointless and overtly extravagant special edition.
£30 or the equivalent in Euro-dollars can buy you a copy of Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, the officially unofficial official sequel to the 2001 Bohemia Interactive-developed military sim.
But, get this, for MORE money (we're currently not sure just how much it'll harm your wallet), you get the above officially unofficial official sequel to Operation Flashpoint along with a full-size adult military helmet (presumably of Chinese design, what with the dragon emblem and throwback design, straight from the Korean War) and a set of dog tags.
The big question I suppose is... Why?
