Tali-Ode : Mass Effect 2 character trailer

She was one of the better characters in the original game, even though she was often stuck in the background (also, no media attention was given too her because she wasn’t a psychotic toad or sex option).
Essentially a child forced into a dangerous quest by her culture, Tali offered a sheltered yet insightful view of the outside universe Bioware had concocted that offered a nice counterpoint to humanities headstrong bull charge into the fray. She was also a capable tech-type, although Andrew Shepard (infiltrator extraordinare) was better *smug*

L4D2 release date clarification

Valve have broken cover with a blog post outlining just when the imminent sequel to last years #1 game will hit.
Valve seem to be using EST as the guideline for a change (i’m sure you can work it out from there) but I’d be surprised if there isn’t a hint of Valve Time in there somewhere. Oh, there are survivor bios and a few weapon breakdowns hidden in the post too.

Final Fantasy XIII – March 9th

Square Enix have announced that Final Fantasy XIII will hit European and American PS3′s and XBOX 360′s on March 9th 2010.
Leona Lewis will also provide the theme song for the game (unless you live in Japan of course) called “My Hands” which is off her forthcoming album.

MP creates Gamer’s Voice pressure group #MW2
Because jumping on the #MW2 (natch) bandwagon isn’t shameless enough these days, Tom Watson (one of the few pro-gaming MPs in British Parliment) has set up a Facebook Group to coincide with todays release of the much-anticipated shooter.
Designed to ‘give gamers a voice’ (although ‘how’ is still a mystery), the group already has over 6500 irate and vocal members, ready to mobilise in an instant against the Vaz-i regime in a flurry of angry internet hate and mass hysteria.
Still, at least they don’t have a Twitter page… Oh, wait!
