Capcom have lifted the lid off Resident Evil 6, coming this november for XBOX 360 and PS3 (with PC to follow at a later date).

First Details and Trailer after the Jump.

Resident Evil 6 sees the return of Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy. The trailer speaks for itself. PR Follows the trailer.

US release date is 20/11/12, Capcom Europe should confirm in the morning if this is the case for Europe too.

Microsoft Flight available Spring, Free

Microsoft have sent word that their new version of Flight Simulator, simply titled Flight, will be avaialable in the spring and all for the princely sum of Nothing.

The game will offer you a realistic take on Hawaii to fly around, and if you have a Games for Windows Live account, you can get your precious Cheevos (as well as extra planes and missions).

There will also be additional paid content available as well.

Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary

Barry Hodgson takes a look at the Anniversary Edition of Halo.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 10 years since the XBOX was first released and of course, with Halo: Combat Evolved alongside it.

Halo was undoubtedly the XBOX Killer app during the launch period and probably helped to ship a lot of them and it’s likely without Halo the XBOX launch could have likely tanked – so here we are 10 years later with an anniversary edition of the game.

OOOOOOOOOOHHHH YEAAAAAAHH Macho Man in WWE ’12

THQ today announced that Macho Man Randy Savage will appear in the upcoming WWE ’12 as a DLC character.

There is only one thing to say to this: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHH

Macho Man joins Batista, Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Shawn Michaels as other Downloadable characters. THQ seem to be going all out with the DLC this year, which can only be a good thing (as long as they aren’t too over priced).

20 years Ago, Barry was a small child watching in amazement as Sonic zipped by on his screen. Now he’s a big child, watching in amazement as Sonic Zips by on his screen.

For years now Sonic gans have followed The Sonic Cycle. It starts with elation as Sega announces that Sonic is “going back to his roots”, there will be “no shitty friends”. Then the first screenshot comes out showing his shitty friends and some new non classic Sonic Mechanic.

Dance Central was easily the standout game from the Kinect launch. It’s almost perfect tracking and the fact that it was actually useful in helping those of us with two left feet learn to dance meant that it was one of the better uses of Kinect at Launch.

It’s quite a surprisng move considering that Brock is still an active UFC fighter, however it’s good to see that he hasn’t forgot his WWE Career.

Onlive UK First Impressions

As we’ve already posted, Onlive went er live this morning in the UK. I thought i’d just quickly post up my first initial impressions of the service.

After registering for the service i quickly found the first free item to try which was the 30 min free trial of Warhammer 40K Space Marine.

For reference, i am trying this on a 2010 Macbook with a 15MB internet connection (via wifi).

Onlive Launches in UK

Onlive has launched in the UK this morning. The streaming service allows you to play a game rendered “in the cloud” streamed to your PC, Mac or Onlive Microconsole (available from the Game Group later this year for £69.99 or the onlive website).

Our impressions of the service will be following shortly.

At launch your first game to “own” will be £1 with a months playpack (unlimited access to the games on the service) will set you back £6.99, BT Broadband customers will get their first 3 months for free.
