Sega Confirms Sonic and the Black Knight
Sega has confirmed that the Nintendo Power Scans showing “Sonic and the Black Knight” are indeed true.
The game is a followup to Sonic and The Secret Rings, and continues the storybook theme as the game sees Sonic transported to Medieval England to help King Arthur…or something. It’s being made by Sonic Team Japan, presumably the same guys behind Secret Rings (which we quite liked) so we’re kind of looking forward to this.

Redesigned Dashboard to hit 360 this fall – with Avatars
Microsoft have revealed at E3 that this fall via a System Update in the “fall” (Autumn to you and I) the dashboard will be getting a huge makeover.
The dashboard has now gone 3D, and looks to remove the clutter of the previous one. The first change is the much rumoured Avatar Feature (think Mii).
Other new features include:
Party Mode:- Join 7 other friends and jump into games, or share photos. If you all have the same game, the Party Leader can launch the game for everyone at the push of one button.

Gears of War 2 – November 7, has 5 player Co-op Mode
Cliff Bleszinski revealed while demoing Gears of War 2 at Microsoft’s E3 Conference, that Gears of War 2 has a 5 player co-op mode called “Horde” that allows 5 players to take on Wave after wave of enemies.
He then went onto say that Gears of War 2 would be available on 360 this Novemember 7 worldwide.

Fable 2 to feature Drop in Drop out co-op
Peter Molyneux took the stage to demo Fable 2 at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference and demo’d the drop in – drop out co-op feature.
All your Live Friends playing the game show up in the game world as Purple Orbs, you run up to them, Press A to invite them and they appear in your world and can chat up your wife or get drunk with you.

Resident Evil 5 to launch March 13th 2009
It was announced at the Microsoft E3 Press Conference that Resident Evil 5 will launch worldwide on Friday March 13th 2009.
The game was demoed for the first time at the conference, and it was shown that co-operation between the two characters (which can both be played in online co-op) is essential to progress through the game.

Fallout 3 360 & PC to feature Exclusive Downloadable Content
At Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference this evening, Todd Howard, the executive producer of Fallout 3 revealed that the PC and 360 versions of Fallout 3 will have exclusive downloadable content after launch,
Hopefully it won’t be Horse Armour.

PS3 Firmware 2.41 now available – doesnt brick units. Hopefully.
Sony has released PS3 firmware update 2.41.
This update includes everything included in 2.4 (such as in game XMB and trophies) and fixes the bricking problems some people were experiencing.
