Nintendo have announced that the 3DS will hit Japan on February 26^th, costing ~¥25,000 (~$300/£190 in real money).

The US & presumably the EU will be getting the console approximately a month later, although prices are just conjecture at the moment.

Unfortunately for the fervent fan base, no, this isn’t the official Shenmue 3 confirmation they seem to demand (well, there’s still always the chance it will happen though…  obsessive fans did wonders for Family Guy & Firefly), but even a hint that SEGA are still in touch with their game properties can keep us hoping.

PAX 2009 has just finished and, swine-flu not-withstanding, it was a success.

There’s a metric ass-load of trailers after the cut, some of which require you to prove that you were born on January 1^st, 1900…  You have been forewarned!

Scribblenauts is still looking fantastic and if they don’t consider porting it too the PC, i’d happily buy a DS somewhere down the line to play it.  It’s innovation like this that is driving the industry!

Think the EU Sony-exclusive cluster fuck that is Ghostbusters: The Game couldn’t get any worse?

It just did…

Firstly, the US PC release of the game is completely bereft of any of the promised Co-Op multiplayer, instead simply relying on the internet to make sure that the paying genuine customers filthy nasty pirates aren’t stealing Terminal Realities game babies and eating them.

The game aims to be a “family friendly” take on Rock Band and of course, is full of little lego characters and oozing with charm.  The game will feature lots of customisation as you would expect from Lego and promises humour too.
