3D Realms have confirmed that Duke Nukem 3D for Live Arcade has passed Microsoft Certification on the first try.

Microsoft have sent word that the 60GB Xbox 360 pack will be in UK stores from this friday.

Conquest mode incoming Thursday for Bad Company
EA has sent along word that the much anticipated Conquest gametype for Battlefield Bad Company will be available on Xbox Live and PSN this thursday.
The gametype is a free download and will be initially on 4 maps only.

Redesigned Dashboard to hit 360 this fall – with Avatars
Microsoft have revealed at E3 that this fall via a System Update in the “fall” (Autumn to you and I) the dashboard will be getting a huge makeover.
The dashboard has now gone 3D, and looks to remove the clutter of the previous one. The first change is the much rumoured Avatar Feature (think Mii).
Other new features include:
Party Mode:- Join 7 other friends and jump into games, or share photos. If you all have the same game, the Party Leader can launch the game for everyone at the push of one button.

Gears of War 2 – November 7, has 5 player Co-op Mode
Cliff Bleszinski revealed while demoing Gears of War 2 at Microsoft’s E3 Conference, that Gears of War 2 has a 5 player co-op mode called “Horde” that allows 5 players to take on Wave after wave of enemies.
He then went onto say that Gears of War 2 would be available on 360 this Novemember 7 worldwide.
