Company of Heroes 2 Confirmed

THQ have today confirmed the existance of Company of Heroes 2 following the scans from the latest PC Gamer hitting the web.

The sequel to the WWII based RTS is due for the PC in 2013.

The game is set on the eastern front and will see you playing as the Russians trying to fight your way to Berlin. New features include Commander Abilities and “Dynamic Battle Tactics” (whatever they are) as well as enhanced environmental destruction.

First Screenshot is attached and we’ll have more on the game when we get it.

Sonic & All Stars Racing: Transformed Announced

Sega have announced a sequel to Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing, called Sonic & All Stars Racing: Transformed.

The apparent new feature is that the vehicles now, er, transform into planes/boats. Vyse from Skies of Arcadia has been confirmed as a playable character as well as Gilius Thunderhead from Golden Axe.

The game is out later this year on PC (Digital Download), 360, PS3, Vita and 3DS. There may be a possibility of it being a Wii U Launch Title but Sega are keeping tight lipped about this.

No doubt you’ll have heard the news today about GAME not stocking Mass Effect 3 or any of EA’s forthcoming releases. This along with the recent troubles stocking Ubisofts Vita Launch games (which they now stock) and The Last Story orders being cancelled the day before release don’t really paint a good picture for the future of Britain’s main specialist retailer.
