DLC scandal #473795 – BioShock 2 DLC already on the disc?

It's happened before (*cough* Resident Evil 5) and will likely happen many many times to come, but nobody likes paying twice for what they've already paid for.
Rumour, coupled with an incredibly small download for something that 'includes' 20 new multiplayer trials and 2 new playable characters, states that the content that costs 400 Microsoft Funny Moneys might have already been included on the disc.
Those dastardly miscreants! Maybe this 'DLC' should be re-branded as 'AICBWTWBBAI' (or 'Already Included Content, But We Thought We'd Be Bastards About It')!

BioShock 2!
2K have released word, via the means of a press release (available after the cut) which reveals that the underwater sequel will be landing around the globe, simultaneously on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC (via. Games for Windows: Live, so expect token issues there) on February 9th.
Obviously, with so many releases now targeting that window, it's easy to get lost in the rush (especially as Mass Effect 2, the other big-hitting RPG, due around the same time), but the released footage for BioShock 2 has hinted at a solid, if not entirely original, sequel.

Game Trailers TV had the exclusive reveal of the latest BioShock 2 multiplayer footage. Nose around after the cut for fire, ice, water, blood, gore, pain, a big mutant man in a diving suit shooting people with cancerous facial growths and, best of all, that strangely kitsch humour that we all love.

A veritable splurge of BioShock 2 screens have hit the net, all of which can be found below.
Several of them are stills from the trailer, allowing a closer look at the Big Sister and the underwater sequence, whilst others fill-out details such as what you look like as a Big Daddy (disappointingly normal) and the new black/white options regarding the Little Sisters (disappointly... disappointing).

GameTrailers have the exclusive first look at BioShock 2's gameplay. Yes, you definitely are a Big Daddy, the Big Sister is definitely a foe, you can use Plasmids and you carry both a drill and the rivet gun.

Rapture Anti-discrimination Laws: BioShock 2 all-formats release + details

Fear not PS3 owners - you won't be treated like deferred citizens (I hesitate to use the term second class, since you got a bunch of add-ons) this time round, as the return to Rapture will be handled simultaneously on all formats come Q4 2009, although I'm not sure if that's fiscal or real year. BioShock 2 has been an enigma since its big reveal as a reward for finishing the PS3 version (you know, that version that never existed despite evidence to the contrary).
Now, ahead of its release later in the year, the marketing juggernaut has stirred from the proverbial depths (probably from the barnacle-encrusted house it shares with that incredibly capable deep-sea whale from the intro) and regurgitated a viral site for us to monitor with baited breath, eagerly anticipating select morsels of information.
