Criterion Games have released the full official trailer for the Burnout Paradise ‘Ultimate Box’.

The trailer shows off a shed load of new content for PC gamers who haven’t touched the game before (or a few new tit-bits for console gamers who have had all the loving for a while now) and sumarises the good bits will the industry standard bullet point mechanism we all know and love.

‘Pass the pad’ party play sounds especially nice, as does the promise of a demo for PC users that falls back on the shareware mechanics of times past with its time-limited play.… Read More...

CrashTV Podcast reveals complete Legendary Cars line-up

Following the big Christmas reveal (which was so big we missed it) of the Delorean-esque 88-Special, Criterion have unveiled the remaing thee cars from the upcoming Legendary Cars DLC pack in their latest CrashTV Podcast.

Accompanying the 88-Special are the Manhattan Spirit (Ecto-1), the Carson Nighthawk (KITT) and the Cavalry Bootlegger (General Lee), each of which features a special unique ability.

More information is available on Criterion’s site. Also, there’s no word on whether this pack will be bundled with the forthcoming PC release of the game, which has been confirmed to include the previous DLC.… Read More...

Burnout Paradise for PC: Rough release date & demo details

Criterion Games have set a rough date (read – ‘February’) for the release of the PC iteration of their latest racing game. Branded the Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box (aping Valve there a little?), the game will arrive boxed with all the content currently released for the console versions along with the upcoming Party Pack.

They also confirm that a ‘Trial’ version of the game will be made available, essentially offering the complete package with a time-limit which can be removed by purchasing the full game, essentially offering an experience similar too that offered by Telltale Games episodic adventures (and … Read More...
