SOS New York – Crysis 2 Teaser Trailer *UPDATED*
EA premièred a teaser for Crysis 2 in Time Square meaning, predictably, at least one of the Internet’s vast contingent was available to film it and post it to YouTube, available here.
The trailer currently links to www.sosnewyork.com, which just has a timer (presumably counting down to some HD/expanded trailer goodness), but watch this space!
Lets just hope the game goes some way to explain why we’ve moved from tropical islands to New York!

Cry(tek)ing Game – CryENGINE 3 loving + rumours
Crytek have announced that the latest iteration of their CryENGINE – cunningly titled CryENGINE 3 – is now up for licensing!
The new iteration of the engine focuses on optimisation for (*spit*) console platforms without sacrificing the crisp detailed anti-aliased edges of those jungle leaves.
So, if you have your own personal Quake-Life 7 or Call of Booty (yikes!) scribbled down on a napkin, then throw them a (few hundred) bones and a license might very well be yours!

Sorry, I’ve always wanted too do one of those jokes…
Anyway, Crytek have thrown up a Crynet Systems brochure site that can’t be anything BUT a teaser for Crysis 2… (ok, it could be a teaser for a Crysis console port using the optimised CryEngine 3 in advance of a multi-platform release of Crysis 2, but meh)

Crysis 2 announced, coming to consoles and PC
EA and Crytek have announced Crysis 2 which will hit the PC, 360 and PS3 and is powered by the new CRYEngine 3 which has been developed with current generation of *real* consoles in mind (because, face it, the Wii just wouldn’t cut it).
