Four is a particularly nice, even number when gaming is concerned. For example, the best Call of Duty game (so far) has clearly been the fourth one. When a

Bethesda have set a date (23rd of June for the Xbox 360 & PC over the various Live platforms, with a PS3 release due after the earlier packages hit the platform ‘soon’) and released a trailer (after the cut) for the next Fallout 3 DLC pack, which is set in a mysterious swamp-filled coastal town called Point Lookout. The pack promises an open-ended quest, new enemies that bear a passing resemblance to the cast of Deliverance and a double-barrelled shotgun with which to put them down.

Bethesda & Microsoft have released the first Downloadable Content Pack for their post-apocalyptic first-person-role-playing-shooter-game (or FPRPSG as we like to call it round these parts).

The pack costs 800 Microsoft points (whatever they are), which roughly translates as £6.80 or the equivalent, and comes bearing a few hours of gameplay, some new weapons, a new perk and 4 achievements (worth 100 Gamerpoints combined).

Alas, as per usual, whilst the Xbox Live route is cut, dried AND permed, the Games for Windows route is permiated with problems, hurdles and other stumbling blocks with which to trip over. Rock Paper Shotgun does … Read More...
