It comes bundled with Kinect Adventures – so the initial hit isn’t too bad but it’s still about £30 more than it really should have been.

Microsoft also confirmed that the new Arcade equivalent will go on sale on the 20th August and will again feature no hard drive and will come with 4GB of internal memory. It will retail for £149.99. The rival PS3 is also coasting at £269.99, which means it’s still cheaper than a standalone Blu-Ray player…

As they have the commercial popularity & rarity of gold-dust, the Wii seems to (unsurprisingly) be holding it’s price.

The 60GB Premium will retail for £169.99 (cheaper than a Wii too!) and the Elite will retail for £229.99.
