Bat Mentality – Left 4 Dead 2 ‘Dark Carnival’ footage

You must be this tall...  TO DIE!

Despite what everyone’s opinions on the ‘early arrival’ of the sequel for Left 4 Dead, it doesn’t change the fact that Valve are at least trying to make the game different, what with the proper melee weapons (with added violence), new and more radical special infected (mainly designed around weeding out the exploits of the first game) and uncommon common infected who force you too mix up your playstyle a bit.

Still, I wish they’d stop demoing the game on the farking Xbox 360 (or at least get someone talented to play it)…

Gore Whore – Shank information, trailers

Klei Entertainment (Eets) next game is Shank.  Shank is like a hyper-violent Streets of Rage TOO THE MAX!  We like Streets of Rage and we like hyper-violence, so it’s got most of the bases covered.

Described as an ‘over-the-top action/adventure’ with ‘amazing control, great animation, immersive environment, and everything else that we feel like, and none of the stuff we don’t’, Shank is due on multiple formats (presumably XBLA, PS3 & PC) when it is done.
