E3 2011 – The Walking Dead – Telltale Tells All
Telltale Games have revealed a small amount of detail surrounding their adaption of the zombie apocalypse graphic-novel-cum-TV-phenomenon. Puzzles and survival horror are abound, with sporadic encounters with series regulars grounding the story in the WD meta-verse.
Rather than retell the trials & tribulations of Rick Grimes again, Telltale have forked the story to include two new characters – Lee, an escaped convict and Clementine, a small girl who will serve as Lee’s ‘moral compass’.

Biomechanical Man – Deus Ex: Human Revolution Trailer, Screens
Of the few games coming out in 2011 I’m looking forward to, Human Revolution tops the list.
Eidos Montreal are making all the right noises about the game, making a point to emphasize the choice offered in approaching the various situations presented.
A pseudo-proper gameplay trailer has been released, offering a stealth-in/action-out segment with fleeting views of the augmentation interface, the inventory (grids are back!) and hacking.

Sparky – Rocket Knight Reboot Concept Art

Rocket Knight Adventures was a good Mega Drive game, often quoted when discussing platform greats (alongside other memorable offerings as Gunstar Heroes). There’s a reboot coming (as is the trend these days) and here’s some concept art for it…

Fire & (Gravity-afflicted Melted) Ice – New SC2 Screens

Shacknews comes bearing news that Blizzard have unvealed two new screenshots, tentatively titled ‘Fire‘ and ‘Rain‘, which show off the new environmental & weather effects that feature in the RTS sequel.
No word on whether such environmental effects will play into the gameplay, nor when the first episode (yes, it’s episodic, get over it!) will actually be released, although most are expecting ‘Sometime in 2009′ to be the official word when an announcement is made.… Read More…
Cracking Screenshots Gromit! – Wallace & Gromit Grand Adventures screenshots
Telltale have released the first proper batch of ingame screenshots from the next entry into their episodic digitally-distributed menagerie of video game entertainment.
Accompanying these screenshots is a wad of concept art which shows all the hallmarks of Aardman. Telltale also link to an interview with Eurogamer, which can be found here.
