Crysis 2 : CryEngine 3: Manchester United 0
Aug 20th

Sorry, I've always wanted too do one of those jokes...
Anyway, Crytek have thrown up a Crynet Systems brochure site that can't be anything BUT a teaser for Crysis 2... (ok, it could be a teaser for a Crysis console port using the optimised CryEngine 3 in advance of a multi-platform release of Crysis 2, but meh)
Check it out for vids and wallapers showing off the new Nanosuit 2 (these government departments have all the best focus groups), coupled with a specification list of new features, including the meme-licious Necro-Organic Metabolites plug-in, which was noticed by RPS (thanks RPS). It even has a cute little PDF for added official-ness!
Crysis 2 is coming sometime in the future... We don't know when, but it'll definitely be multi-platform and hopefully revolve more around sneakily offing Koreans rather than blasting stupid aliens.
She sells Sea Shells – BioShock 2 Viral
Mar 5th
BioShock 2 has been an enigma since its big reveal as a reward for finishing the PS3 version (you know, that version that never existed despite evidence to the contrary).
Now, ahead of its release later in the year, the marketing juggernaut has stirred from the proverbial depths (probably from the barnacle-encrusted house it shares with that incredibly capable deep-sea whale from the intro) and regurgitated a viral site for us to monitor with baited breath, eagerly anticipating select morsels of information.
Find 'There's Something in the Sea' at, funnily enough, http://www.somethinginthesea.com/.
MIR-12 Speaks – Singularity Viral media
Feb 13th

Singularity has been a bit of a mystery for a while now. We all knew Raven Software were working on it, but nobody really knew what it was all about. Now the marketing machine is revving up to speed and we're being bombarded left, right and centre.
Virals-R-Us : THQ made a Rhino Tank
Feb 11th
Basically, it's what it says on the tin.
THQ, in cohorts with Games Workshop and Tanks-a-Lot, made a real Space Marine Rhino tank and then set about demolishing (admittedly worthy of such destruction) cars.
Need I say more? Find out how the Rhino was built here, if that sort of thing turns you on
