by BarryApril 30, 2014

At an event earlier this evening Disney Revealed the next version of Disney Infinity, which will feature Marvel Super Heroes.

The new version of Disney Infinity initially will feature Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Hawkeye, Thor and Black Widow with more Characters (Both Marvel and Disney) to be announced over the coming months.

The game will feature stories crafted by comic writer Brian Michael Bendis. The trailer released at the event teased future Marvel Characters such as Spider-Man, MODOK, Loki, Rocket Raccoon and Groot (the last two i would assume will be released to either tie in with the Guardians of the Galaxy theatrical release or for the Blu Ray/DVD release).

The worlds in the game are said to be massively larger than in Disney Infinity and have been designed to allow for things such as flying characters to give you some room.

The Toy Box mode has also been expanded to allow for Toy Box only characters to participate in levels designed around game types such as Tower Defence.

The game will also now be on Xbox One and PS4 as well as PS3, 360 and Wii U with the stripped down PC/iOS versions as well. The game is expected to launch in August according to rumours, however Disney only offer a vague Fall 2014 date.
