Hello! I'm definitely non-essential in all walks of life.
Apple has me sitting at home doing training but at least I'm being paid and have health insurance.
Alice (the wife) is a teacher and is supporting students remotely.
And our son is 25 months old and terrorising us. But he's...
A Mushkin Reactor 1TB SSD is about £250 and performs comparably to a Samsung Evo.
I've got one sitting on my desk waiting to transfer my data to it before replacing a 1TB hybrid drive that's not cutting it.
-edit-
A Samsung Evo 1TB is only £10 more on Amazon.co.uk!
If you need more than 1TB...
The 6S is a great phone. It's already faster than current Gen Android phones and for many people it doesn't make sense to upgrade. Arguably, nobody NEEDS an iPhone 7! My wife isn't interested in upgrading from hers either.
CarPlay is available in newer aftermarket car stereos from Pioneer...
Got my new phone yesterday. It's the 128GB black iPhone 7. I really like the look of the 2-camera system on the 7Plus but not enough to carry a massive phone.
Got a "smoke grey" leather case for it, which looks and feels great. New design for the 7, much better buttons than the old leather...
You're not far off the mark tbh.
There is still a little movement. Some Apple customers switched to Android prior to the launch of the 6 and 6 Plus because they wanted a bigger screen. Many of them then switched back to get a large-screen iPhone.
Some people switch to Android for other...
There's a bit of misinformation floating around regarding the AirPods.
Yep, they use standard Bluetooth.
Yes, they work with non-Apple devices, but some of the more advanced features (e.g. automatic setup on all your devices) are iPhone specific. The Verge / Neowin article linked to earlier...
Funnily enough, the posters on the left are mine (Civil War Spidey, Deadpool) and those on the right (Ivy boobs and Phoenix) were chosen by Alice!
The small Gaara was painted for me by Alice as a surprise (arguably my favorite Naruto character).
I'm struggling to find any direct attached storage devices that also allow Ethernet access..
If a NAS is out of the question, maybe consider a new regular USB HDD connected to a Pogoplug. I believe you can disconnect from the Pogo Plug to transfer files directly over usb, then reattach to...
Correct! That's really what it's designed for (it actually isn't suitable for a turntable).
Just a heads-up: a few of the reviews for that particular amp mention the wall plug not being up to code! O_o
I'd get a cheap amp and some banana plugs, like this:

No soldering required!
Yeah, each KRK speaker has its own power cable, it's just an IEC (kettle) cable.
You can plug straight from the Xonar's 3.5mm outs to the RCA input on the KRK using 3.5mm to RCA cables (I think your sound card came with 4 of them).
Those Wharfedale speakers look nice but they're passive, so...
