Any Moto 360 owners on here?

I've always liked the look of them but being an iphone owner the watch wouldn't have been much use to me however with the release of Android wear on ios and the recent price drops i'm seriously considering one.

So I'm back with the master race now!

*waits for Apple fans to realitate*  :D

I'm after some good game suggestions please, a quick look through the app store reveals absolutely nothing worth even giving a second glance at.

Mostly anything I'll give a go  :) I am after a nice sort of SimCity type of game to play...but I hate the ones that you have to wait for thing to build or buy gems at an extorinate rate to speed it up!

Have added you to a group on FB. It's a Kodi build group but also specialises in Retro games. Check out RetroBox. A single Android APK app which has 22 emulators built in for various platforms. Just map your controller once, add roms and away you go. No complex configuration like with other emulators.

I'm not sure if it's available on phones, but Ticket to Ride is great fun and is available on tablets.

Can anyone recommend a decent offline sat-nav app for android?  I've been using Navmii for a while but they have removed some of the features (announcing street and road names, traffic camera notifications) and made them paid features.  The wife really wants the street and road names so this is an important feature.  I don't like google maps as for some reason it drains my data when I use it.

Cheers.

It will drain your data because it's downloading the map sections and/or traffic if you have it enabled, and also for live traffic route planning.

You know you can set sections of the map up for view on offline mode right?

For the amount of map data we would need it would require several Gb's of space, other apps can cover the entire UK in under 1Gb and are less of a faff on.

I've been looking around at a few and it looks like full street names is a paid for option on all of them now so might just have to pay for it.

My Sony z5 Compact has been updated to Android 7.  When I listen to music on it before the update if I got a text I could tap the power button to silence the text message tone (I use a song for the natification tone), since the update tapping the power button no longer does this.  Anyone know what setting I need to change to get this back or is it just gone?

Cheers.

If anyone is using Chrome on an Android device and has noticed random news story links at the bottom of the tab and would like to know how to get rid of them this is how.

Quoting myself and a double post, that's a first for me.

Anyway, Google has decided to force enable the random news stories in Chrome now and they have removed the setting you would change to disable it.

Bugger.

So it's not just Microsoft and Apple that force people to use their software in a particular way, and remove useful features on a whim?
