    What, no coronavirus thread???

Great to hear that you're getting over it Nige sounds like you've had a really rough time, might yet catch up with you on BFV before you rage quit :) My own personal story isn't something I've shared on social media, those of you who have the misfortune to follow me on twitter may have noticed...

    Wifi Help!!!!

Yeah I've had a look in there, everything seems correct. Tried the wifi adapter in my laptop and it's getting slow speeds in there as well so may be something wrong with it and just a coincidence that it started acting up just after new motherboard. Think I'll just annoy the wife and drill a...

    Wifi Help!!!!

Deleting the drivers manually and reinstalling has solved the no internet issue but it's now giving max download speed of 20mb when I should have 100mb. My phone on speedtest on same network gets 100mb so it's not a network issue. Going to do a bit more digging when I get home tonight, had to...

    Wifi Help!!!!

Not sure how many still frequent the place but hoping for an answer Got some weird issue with my wifi adaptor since upgrading motherboard which I'm guessing is a driver issue. The motherboard is a asrock fatal1ty b450 k4 and my wifi is a TP Link ac600 nano usb thing. All worked perfectly fine...

    Questions (which-do-not-deserve-their-own-thread) Thread

Was in london at the weekend and ended up being overcharged for a journey as we didn't touch in after the match due to the station being rammed and a train on the platform. You can set up a contactless account with TFL online which you can use for claiming back overpayment, including historic...

    Battlefield V

Tried the Combined Arms co-op missions last night solo. Decent diversion from the multiplayer but definitely no good on your own. Thought I'd completed the Arras mission by dropping a JB2 on the last officer and several of his pals but then the extraction point got overrun by approx 3,000...

    Questions (which-do-not-deserve-their-own-thread) Thread

Yep you don't need an account, just tap in and out at the end of each journey and yes just use a card per person. Not sure on the free travel thing as we always use the unmanned barriers so your nine year old would have to jump through the barriers - seen it done by people a lot older than 9 :)

    Questions (which-do-not-deserve-their-own-thread) Thread

I visit London quite often for football and I find by far the easiest/ cheapest way round is to use a contactless card as you go through the barriers, TFL then just charge you the appropriate amount for whatever journeys you make and cap it at the maximum daily charge so you never pay too much...

    Battlefield V

Ignore earlier post I couldn't unquote Nige's post. Been playing the game on early access through Origin Access and it's massively improved from the beta and alpha releases. It's much easier to see enemies and collision detection from what I've seen seems spot on, apart from tanks, they still...

    Battlefield V

Took your advice and had a few rounds on BF4 tonight and it was a lot more enjoyable than the recent rounds I've had on BFV and BF1. Great fun blasting around Golmud in a tank, feels like a proper Battlefield game .   Have to say BF4>BF1>BFV at the minute

    Battlefield V

Played a few more hours over the weekend on pc and PS4. I hate the Narvik map with a passion and the Grand Operations airborne section is awful. Still quite like the Rotterdam map but it doesn't feel big enough for a BF map, I know it's mainly infantry based but it still feels small. Did have a...

    Battlefield V

Open beta early access started today and I'm pleased to say it's a big improvement on the alpha. Much easier to see other players and the Rotterdam map is excellent, played about a dozen games on there and only had one or two long range headshots. I'm still not too keen on the Narvik map, the...
