So, I was kinda looking around for a good review on Resident Evil 6 as I was thinking of playing it. I mean who buys anything without checking out if it’s good or bad, right? I heard it got pretty bad / average reviews from some friends of mine but they told me it wasn’t so bad as the reviews make out. I found this review and it makes me think I should give this game a miss altogether.

I really kinda enjoyed Resident Evil 5 and some of the other Resident Evils before that, I won’t say they were my favourite games because they weren’t but they were OK I had some fun with them. I guess the point I’m trying to make is, that, I’ve seen some super average reviews for this game and some that say it’s not as bad as other reviewers are making out and this one that says it’s really awful. I don’t know who to trust on this one. Is it that bad? I’ve been guilty before of ignoring reviews and then being completely let down.

So, I was kinda looking around for reviews on this game as I was thinking of buying it. I had little play of the demo and it was quite fun but I’m not so dumb to trust a demo, I mean they right show me the best parts of the game right? Anyway, so who buys things without finding out whether they are good or bad anyway. A bunch of my gaming buddies told me that the full game got pretty poor reviews across the board and also some really bad reviews.

I guess the point I’m trying to make is, this review comes down pretty hard on the game, perhaps a little harder than most but no-one has kinda commented on it so I’m just wondering whether to trust the reviewer and avoid the game or listen to my friends and just try out the game anyway. I mean it’s Resident Evil so it can’t be that bad right? I only ask because I’ve been guilty of ignoring reviews that give games a super bad score then finding out that maybe I should have listened. So please, help this gamer girl out, is this legit?
