Zee GOG-gles! Good Old Games.com reaches Public Beta

After a few months of not-so-private closed beta-ing, Good Old Games has been released on the unwashed masses willing to throw down money for Vista compatible versions of greats like Fallout, Sacrifice & FreeSpace 2 (and not-so-greats, like Earthworm Jim 3D, I.G.I. 2 & Conquest of the New World).

The official word is…

From today on, GOG.com is officially available to every classic PC games fan that wants to satisfy his need for DRM-free Good Old Games.

“The success of the Early Access Beta showed us that there is huge demand for DRM-free classic PC games, and it helped us to prepare the site for the public launch. We are endlessly grateful to the users for their support and assistance,” said Adam Oldakowski, Managing Director of GOG.com. Don’t wait, create your GOG.com account and dive into the world of classic PC gaming.

The announcement is accompanied by the official signing of 2 publishers too the label (Strategy First & Pluto13) and the announcement that Disciples: Gold & Gothic are the next two games to hit the service early next week.

Hilarity ensues!
