Fable 2 has been sliced into pieces for release over Xbox Live and the first is available for free! Barry really liked the game back when he reviewed it last year, so people who haven’t touched it yet have no excuse not to dip in and try it now.
According to Major Nelson, the episode contains the entire game up till the end of the ‘young adult’ period. Further episodes can be purchased to continue the game (think ‘pseudo Game on Demand model’) and, should you bite the bullet and snap up the game at retail, everything slots together nice and seamlessly.
An interesting thought is that this could pave way for a piracy-free PC release (probably entirely via GFW:Live if Microsoft have anything to do with it) of what might very well be the first game that Molyneux has delivered on since, well, ever!
