Valve have just started their not-quite-January-but-close-enough Sale on Steam, located here for browser-philes or on the Store homepage for people who would rather use the app.
Everything has been discounted, include Steam EU/UK-newbies Ubisoft‘s entire catalogue (including, finally, Beyond Good & Evil), Valve’s Complete Pack (including Left 4 Dead & TF2) which is going for a stunning £39.74, Portal & Bioshock for £3.49 a piece and, best of all, Popcap’s Heavy Weapon Deluxe for 99p!
Prices will obviously vary for regions and I suspect the still skew-iff EU pricing will probably encourage more bile from the vocal minority who are hating on Steam at the moment, but if you’ve got a bit of chrimbo money burning a hole in your wallet (virtual or not), there’s not really a better place to spend it.
