It’s been a while coming, despite efforts to save the game and turn it into a free-to-play effort, but the plug was finally pulled on the European servers yesterday, as outlined by several posters on the forums of Hellgate Guru and a short obituary on Hellforge, the D3 community that grew out of the collapse of HG:L.
So long Hellgate – we hardly cared about thee, with your stupid lifetime subscription option and poor gameplay.
