War for Cybertron is edging closer and keeps looking better and better. What’s more, High Moon Studios are fans of the Transformers metaverse and seem to want to do things right. In an interview with Game Trailers at the GDC (after the cut), Matt Tieger relates the Civil War back story and the backwards-up approach […]

Shank has a lot of people interested… Whether it’s the Penny Arcade-esque imagery, the Streets of Rage gameplay or the metric shit-ton of violence, it just can’t seem to hit our desktops/consoles quick enough. The fact it has been picked up by EA Partners is even better. There’s a trailer after the cut from the […]
The teaser trailer for War for Cybertron didn’t give a lot away… The bullshot rendered movie showed everyone where they were intending to go but didn’t drop much in the way of gameplay. As a result, reservations were cast and everyone moved on, leaving everyone firmly divided into either the ‘wait and see’ or ‘it’ll […]
Like Infinity Ward & (possibly) Valve, some people at BioWare obviously want to make movies… Big booming grand epics with loads of gravitas. Evidence A – The Mass Effect 2 Launch Trailer
It’s official – Venice-based Blur Studios do some good shit. They even made the only decent bit of the hateful Transformers movie tie-in game. […]
Before I start, I completely understand that this might turn out too be a pile of turgid shit. Transformers is one of those licenses that seem a sure-fire easy way to make the best game in the world ever, yet often falls flat on its face in execution. Actually, following the unchecked brilliance of Arkham […]
Bob Came In Pieces looks to be an effortlessly charming about an alien who crashes on a planet (as they all do). Said alien then has to rebuild his ship and escape (as they all do). Said escape attempt must take the form of numerous physics puzzles (seeing a pattern here). Due shortly from Swedish […]
Brink, the strange single/multiplayer FPS hybrid from Enemy Territory guys, Splash Damage has been delayed till late next year. Presumably they think the next Call of Duty is fair game for a scrap (it is, after all, probably by Treyarch). As a compromise, we get a video showing the clever movement system.
