Those lovable scamps at GameTrailers have the world exclusive debut trailer for the game of the film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the celluloid prequel to the much loved X-Men films (well, apart from The Last Stand – they should have waited on Singer for that one). There’s no actual gameplay footage in the trailer, just a […]
Big Meaty Blood Bowl Trailer
Everyone loves a bit of violence and it’s even better when that violence is provided as part and parcel of a Games Workshop license. The official Blood Bowl game, built from the ground up by Cyanide (of Chaos League & the resulting lawsuit that allowed them to develop Blood Bowl fame) acts as a fairly […]
Following the rumours and subsequent strip-mining of EA Black Box, nobody really knew what was happening with the Need for Speed series. Now, Blues & Eurogamer are carrying word that the series is progressing in a 3-pronged revamp on every format under the sun. The 3 products, each developed by a different developer (none of […]

Despite receiving above average reviews (in spite of some […]
Meta-publisher SEGA have released their early-2009 release schedule, including choice morsels such as definitive March release dates for Madworld & Empire: Total War (but we knew that anyway), over-confident Q1 releases for Alpha Protocol & the feared-dead Aliens: Colonial Marines and possibly-2009-but-we’re-not-really-sure releases for Xbox/PS3 DMC-esque Bayonetta. Because we’re having a slow news time, what with there being a typical post-christmas lull, a global recession and nothing but a load of announcements & promises in the form of press releases (coupled with the fact we forgot to do it in 2008), here’s the CNS Best of 2008
Those Spike VGAs just keep on giving! Terminator Salvation is (essentially) the fourth Terminator film, but it holds the awkward distinction of being a pseudo-reboot too… boot! The focus seems to have shifted squarely from the steely-eyed evil-robot-goes-good to the squishy humans of the piece and their survival of the enevitable Judgement Day & the […]
