Warner Bros have announced Lego Rock Band for 360, PS3, Wii and DS. The game aims to be a “family friendly” take on Rock Band and of course, is full of little lego characters and oozing with charm. The game will feature lots of customisation as you would expect from Lego and promises humour too.

Gameindustry.biz carries the unfortunate news that Nintendo are too raise the trade price for the Wii in the UK to the order of £18-20 (from its current RRP of £179.99), despite the console making a profit from day one and selling more boxes than, well, boxes of boxes! The excuse? The collapsing value of the […]
**WARNING – PERSONAL OPINION BELOW** I’m sorry, unless you’ve played at least one of the many SCUMM adventures from LucasArts (whether via the original disks, way back then, or SCUMMVM), you’re not a true gamer… Unfortunately, that’s a debate another time… For now, lets make do with the fact that some enterprising chap on LucasForums […]
Those lovable scamps at GameTrailers have the world exclusive debut trailer for the game of the film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the celluloid prequel to the much loved X-Men films (well, apart from The Last Stand – they should have waited on Singer for that one). There’s no actual gameplay footage in the trailer, just a […]
Following the rumours and subsequent strip-mining of EA Black Box, nobody really knew what was happening with the Need for Speed series. Now, Blues & Eurogamer are carrying word that the series is progressing in a 3-pronged revamp on every format under the sun. The 3 products, each developed by a different developer (none of […]
…so how could it possibly hear the official World of Goo soundtrack, freshly composed by Kyle Gabler of 2dBoy fame? Featuring tracks taken straight from the game and a few remixes thrown in for good measure, you owe it you your iPod/Zune/Zen/insert commercial portable audio performance device here to download it now and dance down […]
In a turn up for the books (and possibly after the critical slating their second I.P., Kane and Lynch, got) IO Interactive’s next game is neither violent nor a Hitman game (awwww). Nope, the cel-shaded adventures of pint-sized diminutive ronin assassins is the name of the game this time around and there’s a debut trailer […]
Sonic & the Black Knight – 2nd Trailer
I think it’s safe too say there hasn’t been a really decent Sonic the Hedgehog game since the 3 main titles on the Mega Drive/Genesis… Even the lofted Sonic Adventure games lost their way by introducing free roaming levels and strange western-unfriendly plots that only served to confuse things (he’s Robotnik, not Eggman goddammit!). Since […]
The Wii nearly claimed another life in the post-christmas Wii break-in period (defined by dividing the time the console was removed from its box by the time since it started gathering dust on a shelf). Joystiq is carrying the story of a woman from Michigan who, whilst playing Wii-Bowling (why won’t people learn and stop […]
You know there’s something not quite right with an industry when a product can sell (not just ship, mind you) 1.5 million individual copies across 6 major platforms and it’s performance is deemed ‘unsatisfactory’… Unfortunately, such a fate has befallen the latest Tomb Raider game, Underworld. Despite receiving above average reviews (in spite of some […]
